On the other hand, Shinsengumi was formed to oppress Shishi, and the fight between them had been getting more and more fierce. One day, a man on a horse showed up and saved Shishi from Shinsengumi's cold-blooded swords. He, Tanzen Kurata (Ken Matsudaira), was a lone wolf who wore a black cloth on his face and was called Kurama Tengu.
